Close to walking!

Take a look at Emma standing all by herself. For several months she has been pulling herself up to things, walking around furniture while holding on and trying to walk when holding hands with Mommy and Daddy. It is just a matter of time before she is walking. She is so proud of herself.

For some time now we have been brushing Emma's teeth...well mostly Mommy has. Rob wasn't to sure if he was ready to brush her teeth but he gave it a try just the other day. Let's just say that her 6 little teeth apparently are sharp for Daddy. When she would bite down she would let a little chuckle.

Before the bite!

Ouch! That hurts!

Swimming in the Swimming Pool!

Emma and I began swim classes at the local Y. Emma truly loves the water. She splashed, kicked, and laughed the whole time. She can't wait to go back next week, and neither can Mommy.

9 months old

It was been awhile since I wrote about little Miss Emma. She is a little over 9 months old and doing so well. She is eating all table food now. She gets so excited when she sees the high chair being pulled out. She loves drinking water. The picture below says it all....BOTTOMS UP!

Emma is on the move a lot. She is a master crawler and is trying very hard to be walker. She is pulling herself up on everything. She walks around large furniture while holding on and occasionally will stand for several seconds without touching anything. When she realizes that she is standing on her own she starts to laugh and plops down on the floor.

We recently went to have her pictures done with Grandpa and Grandma Lane. She did so well. I think she loves the camera. Look at how cute she is in her pink pretty dress.

Emma makes us laugh and smile everyday. She has the cutest personality. She gives kisses , hugs. She babbles at us all the time. Adores the pets-pulls on tails, fur and ears. I am not sure Briggs and George like it. Emma likes to play with your hair, though sometimes she grabs and yanks as hard as she can. At the end of the day, our most special time is to cuddle with her. We sing to her, talk with her, and most importantly let her know that we love her!

She is "beary lovable"
