Play Time!
Sunday Rob, Emma, and I had to go over to Patricia's (my good friend) to get baskets ready for our upcoming bingo. She has two beautiful girls, Riley and Bailey. Riley was not at home. Bailey is only 2 weeks younger than Emma and they definitely got some great play time in while the mommy's worked, and Rob watched the football game. For the most part the girls were great. Emma had a few unfriendly moments. She really liked pulling Bailey's hair and a few times tried to practically climb up on her. I am assuming this is a phase. Hopefully she won't always treat her friends like this. All in all the girls had fun. Hopefully this is a beginning to a long and great friendship. Sorry Bailey for the hair pulling.

8 Months Old!
Emma will be 8 months old this Sunday. She amazes us each day. Emma is learning to wave bye-bye, blow kissess, and play pat-a-cake. She is pulling up on everything and walking around tables while holding on. She gets so excited when she is moving around. She will be walking before we know it. She is beginning to eat adult table food. She loves spaghetti and mac-n-cheese. Emma has also mastered the sippy cup-it hits the floor quite a bit. Her toys entertain her but mostly everything around the house is a a bigger entertainer for Emma. She gets very upset with us if we remove her from something she has to touch, pick up, or put in her mouth. There have been a couple of times while we are playing where Emma will now just laugh out loud. It is hysterical and adorable.

Mommy loves this picture!
Emma, Mommy and Daddy love you so much. We are so blessed to have you as our daughter. Thank you helping us laugh each day, smile each day, and love you more and more each day!
Look at me I am waving.

Beautiful Sounds
For some time Emma has been talking to us. It is quite funny to hear her and we can only imagine what she is saying. Can't you see how excited Briggs is in the video...a swish of his tail several times is seen. Of course in the second video I can only think that she is saying "mama". Wow, she is really growing up.
As Goddy says, "She's a squealer!"
She is saying Mama?

Under the Weather
Rob and I took Emma to see the doctor today. She has run a fever on and off since Thursday and today when I got her up she had a rash all over her. Our sweet baby has a viral infection and an ear infection. She looks so sad. Her eyes are droopy, she is pale, she doesn't want to eat or play and isn't sleeping well-this is not Emma. She started medicine this afternoon and hopefully will bounce back to her old self. Of course Mommy and Daddy have enjoyed the extra cuddling from Emma when she hasn't felt well. Hopefully the next entry will be of Emma being a happy and well baby.
