Four Months Old Today!

It is hard to believe that Emma is four months old today. We are so blessed to have her as our daughter. She makes us smile and laugh each day. Emma is so cute when she is playing. She coos at her toys, reaches for them and kisses them all over with lots of drool. I keep feeling around for teeth. Lately, she has become fascinated with our glasses, my earrings, my hair, Rob's facial fuzz, and food that we are eating. Pretty soon she will start cereal and maybe baby food. Her next check-up with the doctor is next week and that is one thing we are supposed to discuss. I guess we should get ready for the high chair.

Emma we love you bunches.

She loves to play peek-a-boo when she has on a dress!

Peacefully sleeping

Little Hokie!

On Saturday I was going through Emma's clothes and found a Hokie cheerleader outfit that belonged to Anna-Grace. Since the Hokies were playing I thought it was a great idea to dress Emma for the occasion. The outfit is adorable on her, and I think she really liked the colors on her. Rob thought she was very cute but would look so much better in a Raider outfit. Rob is now on the lookout for infant Raider apparel.

Our adorable little Hokie...

What's Going On With Emma?

Okay I have slacked a little with the blog. Now that school has become I am a bit busier. Since I moved to a new grade (third grade) I have had to bring work home in the evenings. I don't work on anything until Emma goes to bed and then I work on a few things for a couple of hours. Therefore, I haven't been able to keep up with my blog. I will have to do better.

This is Emma and Anna-Grace a couple of weeks ago. Anna-Grace adores Emma. She only calls her baby and loves to hold her. Emma is open to Anna-Grace squeezing her and holding her tightly.

Everynight Rob and I get down on the floor and play with Emma. We work on rolling over, grabbing for toys, tummy time and sitting up. Emma usually laughs at us, coos at us, and now she is into blowing bubbles at us. Emma smiles the biggest smile and squeaks with a little laugh when we lift her into the air. Even Briggs gets into play time. Sorry for the red eye. We didn't realize it until we had downloaded the pics...Mommy will take care of that before we develop the pictures.

The last week I put Emma in her swing while I ran the vacum. She had her little duck in her hand, while actually mostly in her mouth. As I came around to the hall I noticed Emma's duck up at her chin. She had fallen asleep and held onto the little ducky. Isn't she adorable?

At Nana and Goddy's there is a big playground in the backyard. The baby swing is a big hit with Matthew and Anna-Grace. But now that Emma can sit in it and hold herself up I think we may have to invest in another baby swing. Emma just sits back and enjoys the ride. What a big girl she is!
