Saturday was my birthday, and it was a beautiful day. Emma woke me up to her great smile and giggles. Rob let my birthday be about me-what I wanted to do was what we did-pretty much just spend the day together. I had many Happy Birthday calls. They were all special but the best ones were from Nate, Matty and Anna-Grace. Later in the day Emma, Rob and I took off for Nana and Goddy's. Nana was preparing a feast of my choice. We were having eggs, bacon, potatoes, and pancakes-yummy! About the time that we were going to begin cooking a loud honking sound came from the driveway. To my surprise (yes-Nana and Goddy kept a secret) the Ray's (Nate, Matty, Meme and Brian) drove down from northern va just for me. Nate made the request because to him they just couldn't miss my birthday party-isn't he great. My whole day was perfect.
