Fall is Here!

It has been so much fun playing with Emma this fall season. She enjoyed her first jump in the leaves and picking out her first pumpkin.

This past weekend was Emma's first ride in the seat of a Wal-Mart buggy. She was very excited. Of course, we had to take her down the toy isle. Daddy gave her a choice of which teether she wanted. Yes, a teether. Emma's first tooth broke through the gum on Saturday. This explains all the drool and runny nose. Notice that she grabs for both toys, and of course her Daddy let her have both.

5 months old

Emma turned 5 months old this past weekend. She had a busy weekend visiting friends and family. We attended the Northern Va Buddy Walk in Northern Va, and then on Sunday we went to Covington to visit Grandma and Grandpa Lane. Emma is making lots of sounds, soaking her shirts with drool and trying her hardest to crawl. She raises up on her arms and knees and rocks back and forth.

Mowing with Daddy

Emma and I were outside a couple of weeks ago enjoying the weather while Rob was mowing grass. Every time Rob would drive by Emma was smile and kick her legs with excitement. So when Rob was finished mowing Emma got a chance to sit with her daddy.

Does this mean Emma is "Daddy's Girl"?

Emma is ready to drive!

Happy Birthday Nate

Oct. 3rd was Nate's 4th birthday. We went up to see him for the weekend and got to see all his cool presents. Nate is really into spider-man, batman, and transformers. We found him a batman hat which is thought was great.
We love you,Nate & Happy Birthday!!

Bath Time, Cereal and More

It has been awhile since I have posted. We have had some trouble with our computer. Emma is growing so much and so fast. She has the most unique personality and loves to be cuddled. We recently started putting toys in her bathtub and feeding her cereal. She went for her 4 month check-up at the end of September. She weighed 16 pounds 13 ounces. She is 25 1/2 inches long. The doctor was very impressed that Emma is sitting up, rolling from her back to her belly and then back again. She of course got shots-Mommy handled it better this time. Emma was very brave this time. She barely cried. Emma had a fever the next day. Check out our pictures.

Emma's first time eating cereal! She got so excited as we were mixing it but towards the end wasn't really sure what she thought.

Emma loves taking a bath. She never fusses and the bath toys are a hit. She especially likes the animal bath squirts.
